Dance Teams Rock the Awards at UDA Camp in Starkville

Trinity's Dance Teams rocked Dance Camp in Starkville, Mississippi, which was hosted by Universal Dance Association. The Varsity Team received a Superior Ribbon for Home Pom, giving them 1st Place in the Varsity Division, while receiving a Superior Trophy, along with a bid to Nationals in Orlando, Florida. They also received the Camp Super Spirit Stick the 2nd day of camp for the leadership and energy they brought to camp. Senior Mary Ann Pittman received a "Pin It Forward" award for standing out as a camp leader and helping others. Several won All-American honors, including Sarah Howe, Mckenzie Parker, Anna Hixon, and Hannah McDaniel.

GIRLS SOCCER WINS STATE CHAMPIONSHIP!

The Varsity Girls Soccer Team defeated rival St. Paul's 1-0 off of a penalty kick by Healey Mathison to advance to the State Championship game on Friday. On Friday, they came back from a 1-0 deficit to tie the game 1-1 off a penalty kick by Healey Mathison. Two overtimes and a shootout later they defeated Guntersville to win the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP!

Seventh Grade Students Receive State Recognition through Duke TIP

Six seventh grade students qualified to receive state recognition through the 38th annual Duke TIP (Talent Identification Program). Cal Bennett, Tate Bixenman, Chappell Hill, John Russ Marshall, Emory Roth, and Tabitha Tegman qualified based on their performance on either the SAT or ACT. Of the six that qualified to receive state recognition, one student, Tabitha Tegman, also qualified to receive grand recognition.
