Instrumental Music Department

The Trinity Instrumental Music Program is made up of students in Grades 5 through 12. Students learn to read music and develop skills that can be applied to areas such as musical performance, composition, and improvisation.  Our students are prepared to use their gift of Instrumental Music to glorify God.

Symphonic Band – The Symphonic Band is the premiere ensemble of the Trinity Band program. The Symphonic Band perennially places students in University Honor Bands, All-District Bands, and All-State Bands and regularly receives Superior ratings at music festivals.

"Wildcat Pride" Marching Band – The "Wildcat Pride" Marching Band performs at all varsity football games, Trinity pep rallies, numerous parades, and contests throughout the Southeast.  The "Wildcat Pride" consistently receives Superior ratings at contests and regularly wins marching contests.

Basketball Pep Band – The Basketball Pep Band is a selected group of musicians that performs at several varsity girls and boys basketball games.  The Pep Band cheers on our teams to victories during the regular season.

Middle School Concert Band – The Middle School Concert Band is an intermediate musical ensemble that builds upon the musical foundations learned in Beginning Band. Musical growth and excellence through band literature and performance opportunities is stressed, preparing these students for the musical demands that await in the future.

5th Grade Beginning and 6th Grade Beginning Bands – The purpose of the Fifth and Sixth Grade Bands is to teach our students a love for reading and performing music that will last a lifetime. Students are introduced to band instruments and are taught the requisite skills for higher levels of band performance for future musical enjoyment and success.
